No Post

No real post this week.  I'm taking a break after the MTSU debacle.  Not sure how long.  I invest a lot of time in writing these posts, and I just don't have the energy to do it after that let down.  I'm not going to say the season is over, but that was devastating.  So I'm taking a break for a while.  I might come back later in the season.  We'll see.

I will say briefly that I think we actually have a chance to beat Clemson tomorrow.  I know that sounds crazy at this point.  But (just like last year) I still like the way we match up against them, scheme wise, on both sides of the ball.  I think our defense, the same one that could not even seem to slow down Miami or MTSU, will actually play a decent game, and "hold" Clemson to something like 28 or 31.  If we execute on offense, we can score more than that.  Clemson's defense is not terribly good, and particularly not terribly well suited to stopping our offense.

I think its a close game, that ends up something like 35-31 or 31-28.  Either team could win.  We haven't been real good in close games of late (understatement...)  So I guess I'd pick Clemson.  But we have a chance.
