Last Week:
Free Money
Georgia Tech by more than 13.5 over Maryland. Feeling it this week. LOSS
Arkansas beats Auburn by more than 10.5 (am I crazy to put this as free money? I don’t think so. Auburn has no defense. Unlike South Carolina, Arkansas does have a good QB). WIN
Solid Bets
Texas will lose by less than 9.5 to Oklahoma. They might win, but I like the Sooners in the game. Texas covers though. LOSS (wow...)
Wake Forest is scrappy, but eventually FSU will win by more than 12.5. LOSS
Miami loses by less than 7.5 to Virginia Tech (I think the Canes may win outright) WIN
LSU beats Florida by more than 13.5 (not falling for the Gator trap twice in a row) WIN
Tossups
North Carolina will beat Louisville by more than 14.5 LOSS
Clemson beats Boston College by more than 20.5 (gulp?) WIN
NC State bounces back to beat Central Michigan by more than 13.5. WIN
On the season so far:
Overall | 24 for 49 |
Free Money | 6 for 9 |
Solid bets | 9 for 21 |
Tossups | 9 for 19 |
This Week:
Free Money
FSU had a players only (ie “come to jesus”) meeting this week. I think they are tired of this losing. I think Duke is in the wrong place at the wrong time. Noles by more than 13.5.
Clemson beats Maryland by more than 7.5 Clemson is going to be much tougher to deal with now that they have this offense. Completely different team.
Solid Bets
Texas A&M finally plays a complete game, and beats Baylor by more than 9.5.
UNC beats Miami by more than 3.5. I think they are good enough up front to slow down Lamar Miller, and they will then sit back and take advantage of INT 12 (aka Jacory Harris) per usual.
GT by more than 7.5 over UVA. I think we finally snap out of this funk, and get the job
done.
Arizona St. is good enough to keep it close with Oregon. They lose, but they lose by less than 16.5.
Tossups
Michigan State ends Michigan’s unbeaten run, and wins by more than 2.5.
In something of a shocker, Texas loses by less than 7.5 to Oklahoma St. (bounce back game for the horns, although I don’t think they pull out the win).
Wake Forest loses by less then 7.5 to Virginia Tech.
