Our next major self inflicted issue came on the 3rd and 1, and the ensuing 4th and 1 failure while trailing 27-26. On both plays, Tevin rushes the timing and does not wait for the B-Back to clear. This play is a fake handoff to the B-Back, who then acts as a lead blocker for the QB to follow. I believe Tevin gets the first down relatively easily on either play if he simply waits for the B-Back to get past him, and block. The key problem on both plays was 1 defender filling the hole.

A little more patience to execute the play properly, and its an easy conversion, and this game might have been very different.
